Disclaimer & Advertising Disclosure

Last Updated: July 22, 2026

This page explains what MassTortInfo.com is, how it earns revenue, and the limits of the information published here. It is provided in line with the Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and applicable state-bar rules on attorney advertising. It works together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Our Role — What We Are and Are Not

MassTortInfo.com (“MTI”) is an informational publishing platform and a marketing / referral platform reporting on mass tort litigation, multidistrict litigation, settlements, and product recalls.

We are not a law firm, settlement administrator, claims administrator, court, government agency, or insurance company. We do not represent claimants, prosecute or defend lawsuits, process or pay claims, determine eligibility, or issue or deny settlement payments. No attorney-client, fiduciary, or confidential relationship is created by visiting this Site, reading any content, clicking any link, or submitting any form.

How MassTortInfo.com Makes Money

MTI participates in affiliate, advertising, and lead-generation programs and may be compensated in connection with content on this Site, including:

  • Lead-generation and referral arrangements. Case-review links and intake forms operated for or with a legal marketing partner or law firm. We may be paid per submission, per qualified submission, on a flat-fee basis, or under another negotiated structure. This is our primary revenue source on case pages.
  • Affiliate links. Links to third-party services that pay us a commission or referral fee. This costs you nothing extra.
  • Display advertising. Banner and contextual ads served by third-party ad networks.
  • Sponsored placements. Paid articles, sponsored investigations, or category sponsorships, identified as such where they appear.

Paid and affiliate links on this Site are marked with the rel="sponsored" attribute as required by search-engine guidelines.

Editorial Independence

Compensation does not determine which cases or recalls we cover. We cover litigation and safety matters because they affect consumers, not because someone paid for coverage. We do not allow advertisers to review or approve editorial coverage of the same subject as a condition of advertising.

Attorney Advertising Notice

Some content, links, forms, and lead-generation placements on this Site may constitute attorney advertising under the rules of one or more U.S. jurisdictions. Past or anticipated results described in any case summary, verdict report, or settlement figure are not a guarantee or prediction of the outcome of any future matter. Every case is different, and prior results do not predict yours.

Hiring a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertising. Before making a hiring decision, request information about the qualifications and experience of any attorney you are considering.

What Submitting a Case Review Means

By submitting a case-review, intake, or contact form found on or linked from this Site, you authorize the information you provide to be shared with attorneys, law firms, claims administrators, or marketing partners associated with the matter you selected, so they can evaluate and respond to your inquiry. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail, including the TCPA notice covering calls and texts.

Submitting information through this website does not file a lawsuit, does not preserve your rights, does not stop any deadline from running, does not create an attorney-client relationship, and does not guarantee that any attorney will contact or represent you. It also does not guarantee compensation, eligibility, or participation in any lawsuit or settlement. Whether you are accepted as a client or recover anything depends entirely on the law firm, administrator, or court with authority over the matter — not on MTI.

If you do not receive a response, or if you are unsure about a filing deadline, promptly contact a qualified attorney of your choice to discuss your specific situation.

Deadlines Are Time Sensitive

Legal deadlines vary by state, by diagnosis date, by exposure history, and by other facts specific to you. A deadline that has not run for one person may already have run for another with a similar injury. Nothing on this Site should be treated as confirmation that your deadline has not passed. Confirming your own deadline is your responsibility, and it is a question for a licensed attorney in your state.

No Legal, Medical, Financial, or Tax Advice

Everything on this Site — case summaries, eligibility descriptions, deadline information, case timelines, settlement figures, recall notices, and FAQs — is for general informational and advertising purposes only. It is not legal, medical, financial, or tax advice.

Much of our content concerns pharmaceuticals, medical devices, contraceptives, food and drug recalls, and toxic exposures. Never start, stop, or change a prescribed medication or treatment based on anything you read here. Consult a qualified health-care professional about any medical question, a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction about your legal rights, and a qualified advisor about financial decisions.

Accuracy, Automation, and AI

Content on this Site is researched, drafted, summarized, or updated with the assistance of automated systems and artificial-intelligence tools, subject to human review. Automated systems can produce errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. MDL case counts, judge assignments, bellwether dates, settlement figures, and recall details change frequently and can go stale between updates.

Always verify time-sensitive information against the primary source — the official court docket, the issuing government agency (CPSC, FDA, NHTSA, USDA FSIS), or the settlement administrator — before acting on it. If you find an error, please report it to [email protected] and we will review it.

Recall Information

Recall pages on this Site summarize notices published by government agencies. The issuing agency’s own notice is the authoritative record. Always follow the instructions in the official notice, which we link on every recall page. A product recall is a safety action by a manufacturer or regulator. It is not a lawsuit, and it does not by itself establish liability or create a legal claim.

Testimonials and Endorsements

Where we publish testimonials or third-party endorsements, we follow the FTC Endorsement Guides. Testimonials reflect the experience of the specific person quoted and may not be typical. We do not invent quotes or attributions. Material connections, such as compensation or a free product, are disclosed where they exist.

Not Responsible for Third Parties

We are not responsible for, and disclaim liability for, the conduct, advice, fees, communications, or representation of any attorney, law firm, claims administrator, or other third party advertising on or contacted through this Site. We are likewise not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any site we link to. See Section 9 of our Terms of Service.

Reporting a Disclosure Concern

If you believe a placement on this Site is unlabeled, mislabeled, or misleading, email [email protected]. We take disclosure compliance seriously and will investigate.
